The lush fields of Stradbally Castle in Laois were the setting for Ireland's favourite boutique festival, Electric Picnic held in early September. The Dublin Gospel Choir opened proceedings on the Sunday with a seriously uplifting set which roused weekend campers from their slumber and set the scene for a great day ahead. Mercury Rev and Nick Cave were to follow on the same stage - we think the choir won over some new fans that day!
